Zipsrifle
You know, I'm not suprised by this. After all of the injustice that has happened to us in the past, this should be expected. The Big Ten is one of the major confrences that pays the bills of the NCAA. In return, the Big 11 has 5 teams (almost 1/2) of their confrence in the tournament. The seeding was obviously set up to allow for the Big 11 to have at least one, team in the field of 8 and that is now guaranteed to happen. Of course, two would be even better and that is why this is happening. The Big 11 is simply being rewarded and the MAC has no recourse. Money talks Bull$#!+ walks. Besides, Northwestern was unseeded going into this thing which is obviously lower than #4! Oh, and don't think the officiating is going to be even handed from here on out either. The WORST thing that could happen for the NCAA is for a MAC school to win the whole thing!!

I hope the team is using this as a motivation.

GoZips
the NCAA's primary sponsers are AT&T, Coca-Cola and Pontiac We need to let these sponsers know of our disapproval of the NCAANCAA where sportsmanship is a lie and the might dollar rules.Hey, maybe they are moving the game so the new messiah can attend. Z.I.P.
After Wednesday’s game, the NCAA committee ruled that Akron’s home game against the Wildcats will be played at Northwestern Sunday at 2 p.m. (EST).It seems that no one has picked up on the most laughable part of this "decision". They are still calling it a "HOME GAME" for Akron. There aren't enough emoticons on this board to describe my feelings. I just can't believe that Coach Caleb, our "flying-under-the-radar" AD Mac Whatsisname, or President Louie Pro are sitting back and allowing something like this to happen. I'm going to wait and expect reasonable people to come to their senses. Stuff them with turducken (or tofurkey like in my house) and have Zippy ply them with mince meat. I think the NCAA will come over to our side in no time.Or maybe GoZips is right and this is payback for Ohio stealing the '04 election. ZipAlumn
GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLA great win by a determined bunch of players!!!!!OS-Who deserved to lose the game in this dramatic manner. In the second half they flopped around like fish out of water and it serves them right to lose on a free kick. The Columbus State coach should be ashamed of how he behaved after the game. Buh-Bye crybabies!Bring on Round Three!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Exactly what did the OSU coach say or do. I wasn't at the match but I would really like to know. I would also like to know why the next match is being moved out of Akron. If this is for sure I will definitely be bombarding the NCAA with a few of my thoughts .... just like I did in 2006 when the Zips basketball team was given the green weenie. I couldn't hear the exchange, but he was in the face of the ref and yelling his head off. This little bit of "sportsmanship" resembled Bob Knight in his prime. A real class act from Columbus.
