It's nice to see Mike Thomas get a little love. Because in a season filled with plenty of disappointment on that side of the ball he really was a bit of a "find" particularly as the season progressed. He's a little on the short side for a LB (maybe he's got a little "Sam Mills" in him), but I can see him making plenty of plays next year, especially if we finally go with a 4-3. How does the propect of having Bain and Sewell at the tackles with Lemon and either Rash or Hazime at the ends sound for starters?

Sewell is a 4-3 DE. He is not a tackle

Sewell is a BALLPLAYER. He'll play, and play well, wherever he is needed. I agree, he's a better DE. But I believe our potential DE's are better, as a group, than our DT's. Don't get me wrong, I won't be disappointed to see him play DE in a 4-3 next year. I was only proposing a potential front four in which the D-linemen that I see as having the most potential right now are all on the field at the same time.

Perhaps I'm behind the eight ball a bit here...has there been any public statements that we will even change the defensive scheme next season? As far as I knew, the 3-3-5 was still in place.

I'm also a Zips/Browns fan and I have to agree that I am ready for this football season to die but at the same time I'm ready for next year. (in true Browns fan style )
