ctmjbowes@sbcglobal.net Posted December 13, 2008 Report Posted December 13, 2008 Come on Zips! Let's make the move to InfoSumma together, team, band and fans. I just had a little flush of balmy air, the smell of charcoal grilling, a cold Hoppin Frog in my hand, and getting ready for a game ON CAMPUS. It's going to be a blast! It suddenly feels 10 degrees warmer outside.Live up to expectations team. Let's do it.GO ZIPS!SeeTeeZippppppeeerrrr Quote
johnnyzip84 Posted December 13, 2008 Report Posted December 13, 2008 It's nice to see Mike Thomas get a little love. Because in a season filled with plenty of disappointment on that side of the ball he really was a bit of a "find" particularly as the season progressed. He's a little on the short side for a LB (maybe he's got a little "Sam Mills" in him), but I can see him making plenty of plays next year, especially if we finally go with a 4-3. How does the propect of having Bain and Sewell at the tackles with Lemon and either Rash or Hazime at the ends sound for starters? Quote

He'll play, and play well, wherever he is needed. I agree, he's a better DE. But I believe our potential DE's are better, as a group, than our DT's. Don't get me wrong, I won't be disappointed to see him play DE in a 4-3 next year. I was only proposing a potential front four in which the D-linemen that I see as having the most potential right now are all on the field at the same time. Quote
ksu sucks Posted December 14, 2008 Report Posted December 14, 2008 Perhaps I'm behind the eight ball a bit here...has there been any public statements that we will even change the defensive scheme next season? As far as I knew, the 3-3-5 was still in place. Quote

After all the injuries/etc this year, it sure seems like we have the numbers to play a 4-3 moving forward. Quote

Valpo Zip Posted December 14, 2008 Report Posted December 14, 2008 I can't believe you guys are talking football already. Between the zips and the browns, i hate this sport these days. Maybe i'll like it again next june, not now though. Quote
zipseuph Posted December 14, 2008 Report Posted December 14, 2008 I'm also a Zips/Browns fan and I have to agree that I am ready for this football season to die but at the same time I'm ready for next year. (in true Browns fan style ) Quote
