Of course, this one can be settled on the court Saturday. I also think Western has come around and will probably win the west. I can't see BSU without Newell holding on to the top spot in the west. Akron's womens team might be ranked too low as well. They'd give EMU a heck of a game...EDIT: I was just looking at the RPI, and the MAC West now has 4 teams in the 300s. Toledo is 307, EMU 313, CMU 317, and NIU 323 out of 343. WOW. Quote

zipboy Posted January 17, 2009 Report Posted January 17, 2009 I watched the 2nd half. Unlike years past, when Can't needed a play they just could not make it. I have not seen a Can't guy get beat for a back door layup in the last 2 minutes for a long time. Fisher looked very frustrated. Too early to forget about them, but finally I have some hope they are not going to win the league this year. Quote
