ZachTheZip
I hear there will be a person there that towers over everyone else, who everybody will turn their heads to look at as he passes. One of the best players to pass through the doors of the JAR but not play a game for the Zips (yet). Oh... and LeBron might be there, too. tbozeglav
They are closing it closest to the construction site from Vine to Exchange. All that means is that you cant get to the parking decks directly from exchange.A slight inconvenience, I would assume.

We will probably get there around 10:30. Holla Back guys...The best way would probably be to get off on Route 8 at Carrol street, and park in the deck right before you get to Spicer. Unless you get a reserved parking space by the JAR, in which case, you simply go straight past the deck.
tbozeglav
The ONLY way the construction/road closure would get in your way is if you were A) coming from the west side of akron down exchange, coming from the southeast part of akron, or C) if you were on Buchtel and wanted to cut down to exchange via Spicer.Given where you're going to be coming from anyways (PA), you're more than likely going to be taking I-76 to Rt. 8 NORTH and getting off at the first exit for Carrol St./Buchtel Ave./Market St. at which point you would make an immediate left onto Carrol heading towards either the East Campus parking deck or the parking lots behind ONAT or the JAR.And just because I'm a nice guy, I even put together a little map for ya

skip-zip
Don't fool yourselves. A lot of people use Spicer on game days, and it's going to create problems. If nothing else, just the idea of forcing some people down alternate streets will increase the traffic on those streets. Plus, the article says that several other events will be happening on campus at the same time. OUCH.But let's face it....is traffic ever really good right before a Can't game? There are a whole bunch of events happening at the exact same time as the game, including a major high school swim meet and who knows what else.I'll be there some time around 8:00AM to camp outside the student entrance, thanks to just getting off work around then (midnight shift is no fun right before early games).
