tbozeglav
WE'RE NOT WORTHY!!!I still want to know where you guys get these from. At least this one is Hi-res so I can see more detail (unlike gozips.com where you need a telescope to see anything)**editA few things I notice:- I see boxes on the roof. There's only 1 thing that fits in those boxes: stadium lights- appears as though the lights will extend across the entire top of the press box... nice!- the endzone facility is really starting to come together.- why does it look like there are double walls on the south end? joshgozips
Here is your explanation for the double wall on the south end...if you look at the southeast corner of the field, which will lie on the visitors' side of the stadium, there is a section of bleachers not yet completed. That area under the metal sheeting and concrete and covered at one end is the visitor locker room. The "double wall" that you make reference to UAzipsman, has created the tunnel that the opposing team will enter through to come to the field. It is actually big enough to drive an 18-wheeler onto the field if desired. As an additional note, imagine being a Golden flush and coming out of that tunnel and onto the new playing field and the first thing that you see is a 180-foot tall press tower looking menacingly down on you and the home side of the stadium filled with THOUSANDS and THOUSANDS of screaming Zips fans. scottditzen
Amazing shot.I can't help but think the area along the Stile Fieldhouse can be so much more than just that bland row of trees. It's almost the focal point of the stadium. I say transplant those trees some place else while they're still small and create Akron'sversion of Monument Park: http://z.about.com/d/gonyc/1/0/Q/S/nyc080106_150.jpghttp://twoguysandamap.com/art/yankee_7.jpg

What I don't understand is why there are two walls right next to each other. I guess Ill have to talk a walk by to see if I can get a better idea. The thicker section will be buried by the grass hill, and the upper section will serve as a barrier for the students, I'm guessing.
Zip N' Dots
Random Thoughts by Dots - I say paint the visitors locker room hot pink to mess with the visiting teams pysche before games and at haltime. Which reminds me, Is there anything more beautiful than a beautiful, beautiful flamingo, flying across the sky in front of a beautiful sunset? And he's carrying a beautiful rose in his beak, and also he's carrying a very beautiful painting with his feet. And also, you're drunk. Cya at the OBC! zips4ever2008
Very impressive photo. Did you rent the Goodyear blimp to get that? Speaking of the blimp, I hope it flies around for gamedays more often then the two or so games last year. About time it flew overhead for games. Maybe we can get College Gameday to come out. Maybe we can get College Gameday to come out. It's difficult to have the blimp fly over restricted airspace for a game. I hope it comes around for more games now that they don't need to worry about the airport.
