skip-zip Posted February 10, 2009 Report Posted February 10, 2009 At least it looks more accurate than last week. And if Ball State is indeed the best out West, then I am glad we get them at home.I'm a little puzzled about why they describe Can't as having limited resources. They lost their two senior post people last year, but Sherman, Mincy, Fisher, and Singletary have all been there before. And that sophomore center had a huge game against us. I think they have just played under their talent level until just recently. Lets hope they fall apart again, because I think these guys can be dangerous if they play together. Quote

That and the fact that Ball State has only lost one game to a MAC West team and Ohio has lost two. Quote
Dave in Green Posted February 11, 2009 Report Posted February 11, 2009 I was thinking before tonight's Miami-CMU game that CMU just might have enough punch in a home game to surprise Miami. CMU was behind by only 1 point at halftime, and ahead 44-40 midway through the second half. It's now tied 51-51 with just 4 minutes left. Quote

Dave in Green Posted February 11, 2009 Report Posted February 11, 2009 I'm seeing a final of 57-55. In either case, Miami chokes on a cupcake.Next up: Can't trails Northern Illinois at halftime, 30-28. Quote

Dave in Green Posted February 11, 2009 Report Posted February 11, 2009 With 10 minutes to go, Can't 45, NIU 44. Quote
Dave in Green Posted February 11, 2009 Report Posted February 11, 2009 NIU ahead, 57-54, with 5 minutes to go. Quote
ZachTheZip Posted February 11, 2009 Report Posted February 11, 2009 The only reason Can't was in this game was Singletipsy, and he just fouled out with 2 minutes to go. Quote
tpsjugglerdude Posted February 11, 2009 Report Posted February 11, 2009 WOW! 63 combined fouls in that game! 40% of CANTS pts were off free throws. NIU 23 of 41 from the line is just awful. Quote
