skip-zip
lilroodude....in Ford's defense, he probably didn't really know yet exactly what his player did. I'm sure he was still getting the "I didn't do anything" story from his player. Lets just hope he does the right thing now and boots him from the team permanently. Enough is enough. Enough is enough.Oh, no, I totally see that, but I was just saying that he was hounding the refs about Chris Singletary and they had the monitor on the table and I saw him come over to watch. He might not have seen it, but again it's just what I saw.By the way, I'm listening to Michael Reghi on ESPN 850 the Radio, and he said that Chris is suspended for 1 game. Let'sGoZips94
Anyone else hear KD on the postgame show? He said he'd done it before and it was only a matter of time before he got caught. Then he compared it to drunk driving. "You do it enough times, you're gonna get caught." Looks like Singletipsy got busted on both. If we see them again in the tournament, the Rowdies better think of something good for him.Just watched it again...what a pathetic piece of trash. You do that in public, you're facing assault charges...you do it in a basketball game, apparently you're ejected for 39 minutes and not suspended. What a crock of $h!t.Yes, I did hear what KD said on the postgame show; he's sooooo right. That guy needs jail. He needs to get suspended for the entire tourney, and then get kicked out of basketball.Anyone else notice also, that Geno Ford maybe defending Chris? I mean it sucks to lose one of your best players, but to defend that kind of classlessness is just absurd. Bring Christian back; at least he kept the rivalry respectful (for the most part, since it's Can't State).
skip-zip
Hey guys...I just noticed something else. In two different places in the video, at the 1:05 mark and the 3:40 mark, he appears to be trying to show someone that he simply only stuck out his hand at Linhart. What a joke. I still want to know what Keith said to him.
Let'sGoZips94
Michael Reghi said that Chris' act yesterday was cowardly. I totally agree. It's also Can't-State-ish.
timmyboy
I remember seeing the article last year after his arrest for drunk driving saying how he came to Can't, and he had a kid...... well i hope that his son does watch his daddy when he is playing, and doesnt follow in his footsteps because if so he will just be another inmate in the system. its beyond me how a player can get charged with felonies, and still be able to go to school and be a full scholly player!!!!!!!!!!! zipseuph
I dunno. The shot looks deliberate, but it doesn't look hard to me.it didn't have to be a hard punch. Nate was running in and already moving fast so as long as chris's punch was sturdy he wouldn't have to thow it with great force to inflict a lot of damage. GoZips
Most of you posters are over looking one important factor. Geno Ford has known for at least a coupleof years what kind of a person Chris Singletary is. Ford choose accepting Singletary's athletic skillsover any sort of integrity.Ford himself has no personal integrity. The proof is that Singletary has been brutalizing opposing players all season. And little was done to curb his behavior. What did Nate Linhart do to Singletary in one minute on the court to warrant such a vicious attack?I am disappointed in Ford, Laing Kennedy and Rick Chryst. All of them have known for a long time thatSingletary was a time bomb. Still, they did nothing. They let it happen by the fact that Singletary was inuniform and on that court at that time. They did not need to remove Singletary for what might happen. They needed to remove him becausepast events that did happen. All of them knew all along it was only a matter of time.
Dave in Green
I dunno. The shot looks deliberate, but it doesn't look hard to me.it didn't have to be a hard punch. Nate was running in and already moving fast so as long as chris's punch was sturdy he wouldn't have to thow it with great force to inflict a lot of damage.I have to admit that the punch is deceptive. At first I thought it didn't look that bad. It's only when you look at the final view from the corner in slo-mo, and step through it a few times by freezing and restarting, that you begin to appreciate all the fine details.Part of the deception is that Singletary is moving along with Linhart at the same speed. Stepping through frame by frame you will see that as Singletary winds up and balls his fist, he abruptly plants his right foot and his body comes to a halt while Linhart is still flying forward at full speed. Singletary then leverages his now stationary 220 pounds behind his right arm as he chops his fist directly into Linhart's lower ribcage at exactly a 180-degree angle to Linhart's full momentum. It was not a wild swing typical of brawls, but a surgical gutting that would not come natural to the average college basketball player. It would take some practice to get it just right for maximum impact with minimal chance of getting caught. I wonder how many MAC players bear the bruises inflicted by Singletary as he fine-tuned this sucker punch that Can't and the MAC call an "isolated" incident because this is apparently the only one caught on video. The video doesn't lie. Watch it carefully. Watch it often. Step frame through it. Let me know if you agree or disagree with my analysis.

I hope he sits behind the bench so he's even closer to me because i want him to hear every word.

I doubt he's even at the Q today.
