Anybody know where you can buy them? They used to sell them on Athlete-tech.com a few years back, that is where I got my away white #5 jersey but they do not sell them anymore? They used to sell them online through the team shop but no dice there either?
21 views and noone knows how to get a Zips football jersey!!!A new stadium is opening in less than 3 months and apparently you cannot buy a football jersey to wear to the game. Why does stuff like this only happen at Akron? And I am not blaming anyone who has viewed this page, only the university and the people that should be in charge of things like this...sports marketing?

You might drop an e-mail to the AD's office to find out when or if the game-style jersey's you're looking for are or will be available to the public. They may know of a licensee that's making and selling them.Just so you know, somebody has to pony up the dough for the set-up fee, which for a high-end item like game jerseys can be pretty steep. Not a big deal if you're going to sell a million of them, but prohibitive if you can only sell a few hundred or even a couple thousand. It's quite possible the last licensee you got yours from lost his a** on Akron gear and quit offering them.Unfortunately, business is business. And Akron football simply isn't big business yet.

Good points, I would at least think you could get them from the school? They had them very recently in the Zips team shop but now they do not offer either the football or the basketball ones. They may have them at the new team shops in the stadium...god I hope so, talk about dropping the ball. Thanks!
