It's brilliant that the MAC is streaming this for free!

To be honest...would people pay for a stream and/or watch a tv broadcast?

I thought it should be expected, to be honest. This is a media day, the one day where you go all out to get your conference brand out there and show the world what you're selling. To charge people to watch your commercial is absurd.

Elton's blurb
On the defensive: That would be the Akron Zips, where the overall defense has left a lot to be desired in recent seasons. This year, there will be some changes. "We're going to be more multiple, but still be a stack team," Akron coach J.D. Brookhart said. Translation: look for a lot of substitutions, a little more four-man lines, and lots of defensive backs determined by personnel, down and distance. "You know, it's tough to be a good defensive team against these spread offenses that we play," he said.
Playing against the spread is an excuse. I'm tired of excuses on defense.
Two QBs common?: We won't say which teams, as football coaches want to keep their secrets, but more than a few MAC teams -- even some with proven veteran QBs -- will go into the season looking to play two guys behind the center. "We won't platoon," one said, "but we will play two every game." Another said, "There will be games, especially early, when we will gameplan to play two quarterbacks because we can get a specific look."
I'm wondering who this is referencing. I think it might be about Akron playing a Matt Rodgers a bit. We need him to have experience for when he takes over next year.

How many teams do we play this year run a spread offense? How many do we play that don't? How many spread offenses that we play just decide to run the ball because we play the stack?
