From the Bahamas to Akron

Recommended Posts

Theres some guy from Jamaica who people are saying would make a good WR. Bolt something or other. Supposedly pretty fast. I'm pretty sure JD would let him walk on if he wanted to.
Do you think the NCAA will clear that black magic training supplement he uses?

Wonder what gives. The article states that Adderly "trained" with the Canton McKinley Bulldogs. If he's from the Bahamas, what exactly does that mean? Also, the other scholly recipient is attending Mount Union. So there appears to be some sort of Bahama - Akron/Canton connection?
I wonder what kind of scholarship the young man at the Mount obtained.

The TV announcers would be almost as giddy with the name Bolt for a WR as they were with Reggie Corner as a CB :P

6'0" lineman Justin Adderley will be greyshirting this year, and will join the Zips in 2010 if he can become eligible. He's coming here from the Bahamas.
If Jamaica can have a bobsled team…
It is pretty funny to think that they were racing bobsleds before they were playing American football.
Cool Runnings....Good movie.
