I know I'm probably just wishing upon a star, but since it's the first on-campus game and we anticipate a large tailgating crowd, wouldn't it be nice if French & Co. could do a 2 hour long Infocision stadium-opening pregame show earlier in the day, before folks head into the stadium so everyone could hear it? There's so much they could say about the whole project and have interviews with Mack R., Hunter Y. and Tom W., the builders, even Proenza. Maybe even some call-in Q & A. They could maybe report on traffic & parking and Joe Dunn could go around campus describing the events and atmosphere and talk with some tailgaters on-air. The U. could buy some ad spots to help pay the airtime...I'm sure the marketing team will get right on that.

Only two sentences, but STZ's given us a post of the year! We must strike while the coals are hot. We need the new guy NOW, to put his Wistershire sauce on what's cookin'.I can't wait to eat me my "I'll believe a sell out when I see the attendance #s" line. But, until then, I remain a skeptic. Prove me wrong, Akron! (BTW -- I'm hungry, pass me a hotdog)

Listen and listen good. You guys are about to learn something. In a big boys and girls world, the broadcast team is set up in a tent near the stadium where they broadcast the pregame show. The University would sell a sponsorship of the pregame show and call it the Company X Pregame Show. That's how big time programs do it and that is how UofA should do it.

I agree. Time to not just think big, but act big. French does an outstanding job and I feel we're lucky to have him. Put the tent in lot 9.
