I tried doing a custom set a year ago and the finish turned out to be too slick.Sorry to hear that, I hate really slick boards, my boss has a set made out of an old bar top and unless you hit the hole you can't hold em.I stained the wood, which leaves them less slick than paint. Then I applied 2 coats of polyurethane just to protect the paint on the logos, and give them a little shine. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
