tbozeglav
I was under the impression that we are going to have to get a new wristband for the Indiana game. The game is 5 days away yet I have heard nothing about what they plan on doing for student tickets. Ill swing by the JAR later this morning to see if they are handing out wristbands, but I wanted to know if anyone had heard what they are doing. Thanks! tbozeglav
Dont you love it when you find the answer to your own questions? The policy this week is the same it was for Morgan State. I just stopped by at about 9:30 and it looked as though they hadnt handed out any wristbands to students till I got there. Hopefully they send out an email to let the students know to get their wristbands. The wristband itself is a lot nicer than the previous version. This one is more of a plastic than a paper, so its a little more comfortable. I also had them put mine on a little looser too.Yes... I am a little sunburnt from saturday
Dr Z
Thanks for taking the time to post the photo.I ran into a student Saturday that pulled his wrist band off the minute he got it and put a dab of hot glue on it to put it back on game day. ZachTheZip
Just got my football wristband. They are a much higher quality than the last ones were. The soccer policy is bad news. Gates open at 4:00 for a 7:30 game and only the first 1,000 get in? The Rowdies will be at a rally in the field house at 5:30. I hope they all get in to the game. There should be hell to pay if they get turned away because a bunch of more "casual fan" type students showed up before them and took their spot behind the goal. vmd9
Anyone know how many tickets are left? overall including students. Just wondering if we're going to see another sellout
tbozeglav
The indiana soccer game is going to be sketchy for Rowdies. I plan on getting to campus at 3:45 and making the long, excruciating wait for the 7:30 game. If it's what I have to do to be at the biggest soccer game on campus in a long time, Ill do it. plowerman78
The hill for friday will be open to the ROWDIES (students) only. If you go to the student gate they will strongly advise you to go over to the field house starting at 5:30. Coach Porter will be talking to the ROWDIES at 6:00 with the learning of chants to follow that. At 6:45 the ROWDIES (students) will be marching over to the JACK which will be an absolutly awesome seen. We will have a boat load of noise makers, chants and most importantly support of the #1 team in the country in prolly the most important game in this schools history. To be honest we want all 1000 tickets to go to the ROWDIES but we will see what will happen.

If so, that makes MUCH more sense since it'll allow students to go to the rally and still get into the game.
bUAkronG
I hate this policy for the soccer game. I am not a casual fan, but I am not a rowdie. I never have had the desire to join and be a part of them. While I enjoy what they do, it is just not for me.That being said, I love soccer and I would love to go to this game. I work until about 4 and I think I might head up there immediately after. So, sorry rowdies but you're only going to have 999 spots.I should also mention that I won't be behind the goal. I am perfectly content in standing next to the grandstands or somewhere off to the side to witness the game. I do not need a seat.

cms133@uakron.edu
Ok, I need HELP!! I just picked up a GA ticket for Indiana football for my Girlfriend and my student ticket. I asked the ticket lady and she said it wasn't looking like another sell out?? GET YOUR FAMILIES TO GO, I WANT HER TO SEE IT PACKED. Anyway, at the same time I bought two soccer tickets, one for her and one for her friend. I also plan on my mom, dad, and little brother to come because they want to see the soccer team. Hopefully my dad can get off work to bring them all to the football too game but who knows. I'm a Rowdie so I didn't buy a ticket for myself. Is there a possibility that I won't be able to get in and they will?? I was planning on getting everyone there super early because I knew it would be a huge game but DAMN, that's way early. I'm assuming I should just have everyone ready to go at friggin 4:30 or 5.
WinZip
I'm a student but can't make it to the soccer game until closer to game time (there's no way I'd make it before 6:45) so I bought a game ticket. I should be able to sit with students tho right??
cms133@uakron.edu
Well, just bought 3 more reserved tickets for the football game and three more for the soccer game.
InTheZone
My question is, for the student ticket policy they say you have to show a Zip card but no "student" who is not currently enrolled in class is eligible for tickets. But if they aren't scanning the Zip Cards, how will they ensure that actual students are going to games and not just somebody that might've taken a summer class at the University one year and still has a Zip Card?
