Zippy989
Zips are projected to tie Buffalo for 4th in the East CFN MAC PREVIEW East 1 BG (7-1) 1 MIAMI (7-1) 3 Can't STATE (4-4) 4 AKRON (3-5) 4 BUFFALO (3-5) West 1 NIU (7-1) 1 Toledo (7-1) 3 EMU (3-5) 4 CMU (2-6) 5 BSU (1-7) 5 WMU (1-7) I still have a hard time believing Can't has passed us by...I think JD is being underestimated again this season... which is fine by me... we can steal a game or two by flying under the radar... KingZip
Any game played at the end of a season with no open dates is a toss-up. MTSU and CMU games are vital for Zip confidence. Losses at one or both of these games could spell doom for a young team. Last year was salvaged by leadership from 44, 5, and 6. Not too many proven leaders on this year's roster. This is a rebuilding year.

mnhouse
i agree on 6. 44 had many small issues that were distractions and would prohibit his football growth. All in all, he was one of the better zips players in recent years. oh yeah....

GP1
thank you InTheZone, finally someone had the courage to say something. ITZ is consistently the best poster on this board. I think ITZ really stands for "Recent Player Who Still Has Friends On The Team". Nice work ITZ. How good could any of those guys been on defense last year? Teams went through us like swiss cheese. 6's best game was OU. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? OU was a disaster last season. Any player who had their best game against OU should be ashamed of themselves. We need to get players in the program that have their best games against BGSU and Miami if we want to win.
