I voted other for the O-Line. If they get it together, the team can get it together.
I thought of adding that, and I agree to an extent. Definitely thought some might include other, most specifically for the OL But I think that:A. If we had a dynamic RB, that line would be looking better. Same could PROBABLY be said for a OB, but...B. In many situations, OL has been stuck going 5 on 4 or even 5 on 5. A little help from a TE (unlikely) or RB would make a huge difference IMHO.

I am happy to report that last week's leading rusher, DeVoe Torrence, will be getting the bulk of the carries this weekend in Mount Pleasant.I voted for the RB situation but now I'm wishing I hadn't lol. I have been on the DT bandwagon since last year, so I'm glad to see that he will be getting his due time.

I'm not doubting you at all, but I'm curious as to the source. Did you see or hear this somewhere?

I hope this is true. And it's about time. Though AA has an NFL body, he just isn't himself yet (anymore?). Too bad Dale Martin is apparently injury prone; he looked like the most explosive back of them all.Go DeVo! Put your head down and run hard! We need some more testosterone in our offense!

Heard from a very reliable source close to the team. Apparently DT will be getting the majority with AA and Shuford splitting the remainder.

My biggest concern is players and coaches dropping like flies. The 2006 Cincinnati Bengals are looking at the Zips saying "That team's a mess".Whether the NCAA steps in, or the school just flushes the staff and starts over, this isn't going to end well.

You know I like Devoe. From the Indaina game......BTW -I just want to say that I for one, was pretty impressed with how Devoe Torrence ran the ball. I thought he showed a lot of toughness and running skill. I think he's gonna give us a real threat with our running game. I love Bowser and LeFrance. But now we just need Devoe to be un-leashed! I'm confident he's gonna bring a lot of smiles to us. I say Devoe is "Dreal Deal". Go Bowser, Go LaFrance, Go Rodgers, Go Almondo, Go Devoe, Go Everyone, GO ZIPS!!! :rock:p_up.gifp_report.gif

I think it would be fun to put DeVoe into a run oriented offense and put Rodgers under center. Wouldn't now be a good time to do that?PS I'll scrap this offensive idea and come up with a new one tomorrow. :P

My major concern is the coaching. We've seen that there is talent on this roster, including the o-line. I know that at some point the players have to play, but it seems that the o-line has regressed this year so far, and don't get me started on special teams play. I just have to think that coaching is a major issue in those phases. Mostly the same players, likely same intensity and overall conditioning, could it be schemes and play calling that have been the problem? I'm not enough of an expert to make those calls but I still feel compelled to wonder about the coaching, especially Montgomery calling the O. Come on Shane!Come on Rodgers!Come on DeVoe and AA!Come on O-Line!Come on Bowser!Let's DO IT TO IT THIS WEEKEND! Let's get this thing turned around!STZ
