zip37
Talked with a coach today-- Nick is runnung 3 miles + per day, so it looks like a go for him at beginning of season. With ball ammunition lock and load.
zff
Oh Boy if the Zips has Dials from the start of the season look out. With him, Woods and Foust plus the other guys the Zips look deep and talented. And they have to coach to pull off a great season...... mnhouse
Are you sure? I talked with dials earlier tonight and he isn't running at all! He is walking a lot though; about 3 miles every day or so. Are you sure you got that right? running... walking... it's all the same right? No way. Come on zips fans, keep it real here. He WILL be back this year. Let's just not try to push the kid back too early, ok? November is still a possibility, but in all likelihood he will be ready full time in a starter’s role sometime after. and just in case you were not sure..... GP1
running... walking... it's all the same right? The older you get, the more similar they become.
zipalong
From what I am told, Nick may/will play the non-conference games at the beginning of the season for the coaches to view how he reacts. He still may be placed on a medical red-shir status. As stated earlier, don't jump to conclusions. He IS walking with only a SLIGHT limp! zipboy
Encouraging news to say the least but this would be the fastest recovery in the history of ACL tears. If he is reasonably able to play by the end of January I will be estatic.
Akron1
I was told by a coach that Nick WANTS to be back by the end of December, but the coach thought the Zips would be lucky to get him back by late in the MAC season. He couldn't answer the Medical Red-shirt question. The U. is looking into how or if, Nick could get the extra year if he sat out 05/06.
