Link to Northwestern Fan Site Well..Dave..according to the link u provided..the CIT is closed and WE aren't in it...looks like the CBI or nothing at all. I "PERSOANLLY" think we will be in the CBI with a game being played either Wed or Thursday...just my OPINION!!! In your opinion who would we be playing? Too funny...seriously...I just believe that we will be playing post season..and since the CIT is filled then it would have to be the CBI...I'm wondering if they are not trying to get a "HOME GAME"...first. Would be sweet to open up the post season in the JAR!!! Besides..I dont want to jinx anything...so I'm keeping quiet...throwing the key away, put the "tape over the mouth"...me speaka no english.....u pay..u pay...or u go!! I believe that was the same year we finished second in the AMCU, they were first, but we got upset by Cleveland State in the tourney quarterfinals. GJGood Posted March 15, 2010 Report Share Posted March 15, 2010 A Northwestern fan did a great job of confirming 13 of 16 CIT and 4 of 16 CBI bids before Northwestern made the NIT. But no UA yet. Link to Northwestern Fan Site Just looking at the names, the CIT looks better. It's a tournament full of teams that look equal to Akron. Perfect to see just where we stand in the basketball world. The CIT is NOT better! It doesn't even use brackets which means they can arbitrarily put us wherever they want. Plus, in the CBI we could end up in the finals against a bigger name school.
