Another important date for Zip football fans is April 17, which is a Saturday, when Akron will host its annual spring football game. This year, the game will move outside to InfoCision Stadium-Summa Field (weather permitting) and is set to begin at Noon. As usual, there will be a host of activities planned for the the day, both pre and postgame. Check back with GoZips.com as the spring game approches for more details. After the spring game, the Akron baseball team will host Eastern Michigann at Lee Jackson Field with first pitch set for 2 pm, which is a change from the original start time.
