Recommended Posts

I don't know when it will be officially released. Some of what I've heard

2 ACC games...at UNC and at WF

No Indiana, as you stated

playing the other Big 10 teams we played last year...so tOSU, Mich St, Penn St away; Michigan at Akron.

Akron at Cleveland State.

Given last season's schedule:

MAC home: FAU, Buffalo, W. Mich

MAC away: BGSU, NIU, Hartwick

from what a birdie has told me (not sure if all are true) but add on notre dame, tulsa, cincy and creighton all at home. the akron tournament is the weekend football plays down in kentucky

So far, only Indiana and UCLA have officially announced their skeds. And we ain't on either of those. No games in the West this year, at least until the post-season. Hint: College Cup in SoCal.

Take out Notre Dame; add Cal-Northridge at home. Add Oakland (MI) and South Florida on the road.

Looks like Creighton at Akron could be a great game...

Finlay leads Creighton past Virginia

April 20th, 2010 8:34PM

[sPRING SOCCER] Creighton rallied to beat 2009 national champion Virginia, 2-1, Saturday on a pair of goals by Ethan Finlay in a charity match that drew a crowd estimated at over 2,500 for the third annual National Champions Challenge at Morrison Stadium.

The match raised over $178,000 for Kicks for the Cure, used to support cancer research initiatives at UNMC Eppley Cancer Center and Creighton University Hereditary Cancer Center.

Shawn Berry scored on a deflection off of a free kick from 28 yards out to give Virginia the lead, but Finlay scored twice to give the Bluejays the win.

Creighton returns to action on Friday night against the Canadian youth national team.

Officially Released:

http://www.gozips.com/SportSelect.dbml?&am...amp;SPSID=47177

Oct 23rd will be the Day to Corral the Broncos as we play them in both Soccer and Football. I'm bummed that we played Syracuse in Football in the middle of the UNC weekend. I was lookin forward to going back after last year. A bunch of easily travelable games.

  • 4 weeks later...

Is there any chance one or both of the NC tournament games will be televised on ESPNU or some other national network? It's going to drive me crazy knowing there is a huge game going on, yet not being able to see it. Can't wait for this season!!

The only network I'm aware of that televises college soccer is Fox Soccer Channel. They have a Friday night game of the Week, so only the UNC game would fit of the two in NC. Not sure if the stadium there can accomodate TV. But, usually the games are in the NE -- so if Bucknell plays Lafayette that night, well, just forget it. :D
