Captain Kangaroo Posted October 24, 2005 Report Posted October 24, 2005 He was having a very good year. A real shame for one of the hardest-playing guys on the team. Pace Done For Season... Strong safety Chevin Pace was ruled out for the season following the Miami game. Pace injured the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee during the RedHawks game. At the time, Pace was seventh on the team in tackles (26) and tied for second in sacks (2.0). He also had one pass breakup and a fumble recovery, while playing nearly all the snaps at SS during the first three games of the season. Pace had started 15-straight games at SS. Quote
Buckzip Posted October 24, 2005 Report Posted October 24, 2005 Was it too late for a medical redshirt? Quote
flipthezip Posted October 24, 2005 Report Posted October 24, 2005 To late for the medical reshirt. Injury needed to have occured before the Miami game (ie. the first 1/2 of the season). With an 11 game season scheduled, game 6 starts the second half. Quote
