Well it was close....

Zipsnation.org poster SPIN WINS THE INTERNET FOR LABOR DAY 2010!!!!1!11! (Only he/she is allowed to click here so dont try it!)

Your steadfast raging on zipsnation.org all day long on Labor Day 2010 has finally been rewarded. Your loosely organized insights, post hoc arguments, and general anger towards the zips football program put you in a category of your own.

Good Show and congratulations on your win.

Thank you. Thank you very much.

I appreciate you realizing

I am the only poster who thought the team was unprepared.

I am the only poster who thought the customer service was a "little" lacking

I am the only poster who thought the price jack was a little ridiculous.

Your man crush thing is a little unsettling, but I decided you get the "Flying Bird Award" mad0248.gif because only YOUR opinion matters!!!

Now let's all get together and sing the Barney song, and then talk about all the positive things going on in Zip Football...

{crickets chirping}

Zipsrifle as upset as I am at how the program is run I too continue to purchase my seats. I do wonder if my support though is part of the problem considering I continue to throw good money after bad. I'm sure once again by the end of the season I will be at the games by myself (wife and daughter will be home). The true test will be when my dad stops going with me which may be the final two games this year.

I've been a big Zips fan since the last year of the Gerry Faust era. But last year's Temple game @ The Info was perhaps the low-point (of many, many low-points) for me as a Zips fan. I couldn't get anyone to go to the game with me (not that I don't understand why), sat by myself in a virtually empty Info, and watched us get utterly destroyed... by Temple. I have the feeling that come mid-season, I'll probably be going to the games by myself again. :(

I don't know about the Temple game last year...it wasn't pleasant, but the Zips at least displayed SOME offense.

That Syracuse debacle was the worst offensive performance since the Faust era team got thumped by Florida in the early 90's.

The penalties were inexcusable...illegal shifts and formations, jumping early, etc, etc...those kinds of fouls speak to a complete lack of fundamentals and discipline. That HAS to be corrected this week, or Kentucky will lay a total beating on the Zips. The ONLY thing we have in our favor in those two upcoming OOC games is that both teams defenses will not be as solid as Syracuse's....however, both offenses are explosive and loaded with playmakers. If the defense isn't able to get off the field again due to repeated 3-and-outs by our offense, it could get very ugly....

let the ugliness begin. I think I might stay away from the football boards for the entire season. It's only going to get uglier in here.

Well, at least next week should be fun.

I would like to officially retract my above statement.

You could always doubledown for next week or subsequent weeks.
