Liberty is a Top 25 FCS program. They are moving in the right direction and have a stadium that looks eerily similar to you on a smaller level, though they are planning to expand it to eventually go bigtime:

That stadium seats 19,000 fans as they expanded to what it looks like below, MINUS the endzone seating. And there is NO WAY you had 10,000 fans in the game. The side behind GW had NOBODY in it.. It's one thing if the game was not on TV, but I watched the entire thing.

I feel your pain.

I've been telling everyone for a couple years now that the mac is a I-AA conference. This is a reminder to everyone from the Great GP1.....the MAC is a I-AA conference.

I would like to apologize for one thing I said about it. I said we would be the best I-AA conference, I was wrong. My apologies.

I bet NIU and the people in the MAC Offices are breathing just a bit easier after the near loss to North Dakota. Has the MAC had a single respectable out-of-conference performance yet? Buffalo is getting worked over by lowely Baylor and BUGS wasn't really close with Tulsa all game. Sad to say but Can't against BC might be as close as it gets. The disparity between the MAC and other I-A conferences is staggering. After all the success of the 2003 season, the MAC has essentially become a I-AA conference. Hell, YSU had around 15k fans relative to our 10k. It's a dire situation, folks.

It really is and the schools of the mac need to decide what the Hell they are going to be. It sure as Hell isn't a D-1A conference.

I went to the Wake vs. Duke game today. The game as exciting, but the quality of players is not even close to what other BCS schools put on the field. Both Duke and Wake would easily win the mac.

The best quality win for the MAC just might be Temple over Villanova. Sad but true I'm afraid.
