If it's not the QB's fault, then whose is it? Im pretty sure as this season goes on, iCoach makes himself look like more of a tool than the week before. Last I checked, it was Nicely who threw those INTs, who fumbled 3 times, who made a stupid attempt to get the ball out of the end zone when taking a safety would have been acceptable. Sure, the offensive line didn't help the situation letting pressure get to him all day long, resulting in 7 sacks, but ultimately it was Nicely who was responsible for the turnovers. iCoach, you can sit there and say it wasn't the QB's fault, but that just makes you look like the fool here.

Things that can help our QB help our team win:

- It all starts up front, our QB is simply not getting time to set his feet, count it out from the snap for yourself. I'm not familiar enough with the offensive line play to put blame on individuals, but as a group they are grading too low in the passing game for us to compete. Mitch Browning needs to get this group better fast in order for us to continue to progress and compete in games.

- Alex Allen was doing a great job helping protect in the KSPU game, I would use him for protections on passing downs.

- Stop rolling out, this does not play into the strengths of our QB and it lets the defense cover only half the field. Double the defenders in half the field with a QB that doesn't throw well on the run is a recipe for disaster.

- I have mentioned this a few times in other threads, find the offensive passing plays on film that we succeed at, repeat those plays. If it means cutting down the playbook at this time, so be it. Find some success in the passing game and then add to the playbook slowly.

- Use the TE, we started doing it in the KSPU game finally, it worked, then we went away from it for some reason. We seem to have players at that position that can catch.

- Frisman needs to work overtime on our 2nd and 3rd receivers, they need to run better routes. I watched one of our receivers stop a route over the middle at KSPU that should have been a 20+ yard strike.

- Stop the false starts. These are drive killers and ruin any rhythm that our play calling gains.

- Gary Pride swing pass.

- Wide receiver screens.

- Continue taking shots down field, even if it doesn't work, like they always say it stretches the defense and gives our receivers more room to work.
