Zipmeister Posted October 30, 2010 Report Posted October 30, 2010 For anyone that is a glutton for punishment, the game is on channelsurfing.net I tuned in and was pretty sure I was watching the wrong game. Almost half time: 6-0? Quarterback taking the snap in the shotgun? Completion to the tight end? Then I recognized Akron. Ball batted away from QB. False start. Blocked field goal attempt. GO ZIPS!! johnnyzip84 Posted October 30, 2010 Author Report Posted October 30, 2010 For anyone that is a glutton for punishment, the game is on channelsurfing.net Thanks! After having listened to most of the 1st half, I don't think there's any question about the Zips effort today especially on defense. It's too bad we didn't capitalize on the turnover prior to halftime. Let's see if the effort can continue in the 2nd half. Also, nice to see Richard Hall being used with 4 catches at the half. Go Zips!! Quote
johnnyzip84 Posted October 30, 2010 Author Report Posted October 30, 2010 Nice 1st down pass conversion from Potts to Sconiers! Check that might have been Nicely.....Temple announcers getting on UA coaches for not going for it on 4th down. Quote
johnnyzip84 Posted October 30, 2010 Author Report Posted October 30, 2010 Defense still playing with a LOT of heart. Quote
ditchrider1 Posted November 1, 2010 Report Posted November 1, 2010 While running errands Saturday I was listening to 1350 and late in the 3rd quarter, Temple gets a first down and hear a very loud Owl screech in the background at the stadium...then I hear a disgruntled Steve French blurt out. "You might get more fans hear if you didn't play that damn Owl so loud!" Best thing I have heard all year... Quote
