Dave in Green
My Pick of the Year - Zips Beat Ball State. Alex Allen rushes for 100+. PN7 throws TD's to two of his own WR's. Zips 22 Ball State 19 Early in the first quarter, and you're already halfway there on the PN7 TD pass prediction.

johnnyzip84
I've got Frenchy on 1350 am website, ESPN gametracker and video from channelsurfing going. Hope the injured BSU LB is OK.
zipsfan13
Does anyone know what happened to the player from Ball State? My internet went out for a little bit after he got hurt and when I started watching the game again, he was being taken off the field in an ambulance. johnnyzip84
PN7 fumbled snap on 4th down and less than 1 inside BSU territory leads to a huge momentum changing BSU TD pass on the very next play
MaxZIP
Bad center/quarterback exchange on 4th and inches. Next play the Zips give up a wide open 63 yard touchdown pass. Wow
ZachTheZip
Nicely creates even more turnovers in critical situations than Carlton Jackson did.

MaxZIP
3rd down and 2 at the 50 with about a min left in the half. Akron is moving the ball well and then a great play call. Shotgun formation run up the middle for almost no gain. I guess coach I just gave up on the FG this time.

I'm flipping windows back and fort between Akron/Ball State and Can't/Temple. I was trying earlier today to remember what it was like to watch a college game that mattered for my team. Apparently the last 5 years have caused those memories to be fuzzy. I guess "not losing" is as close as we can get to "mattering" at this point. Sad...really sad. tbozeglav
Start of the 3rd... we get a kickoff return to the 50. We move the ball down to the BSU 10. 1st and goal to go, Nicely throws an INT at the goal line. Awesome. I think Ill just go back to the ESPN score notifications on my phone than watch the game. Zipsrifle
I'm done with Pat. Man, this guy is blowing it. WTF! We CAN win this game and we are (He IS) throwing it AWAY!
RowdyZip
I'm done with Pat. Man, this guy is blowing it. WTF! We CAN win this game and we are (He IS) throwing it AWAY! I just don't get it. I really don't. Why does Ianello stick with Nicely? Is he REALLY the best option? Are we "playing for the future" with our Soph QB? He certainly doesn't appear to have "it." It's beyond frustrating to watch. And it's not only the deplorably ill-timed turnovers, it's also the throw aways with open receivers, the balls that are 5 yards over the receivers heads, and the ones that dribble into the ground 10 yards in front of open RBs in the flat. Sickening.

Big Zip
I've said from the beginning of the year Nicely wasn't what everyone had him cracked up to be.....when are those who were picking him as the man going to show up on the board and admit they were wrong! He is even worse than I thought he would be. TERRIBLE!

He is even worse than I thought he would be. TERRIBLE! I'll eat some crow. I thought Nicely looked like a decent quarterback last year, and expected some advancement this year. He's not in an ideal situation, granted, but it doesn't explain being downright terrible. Less than 50% passing and 11 picks to 3 tds? Sheesh. Proof is in the pudding buddy. Nobody should have to show up and defend anything. I hope Nicely turns it around in the off season or Coach I gets a telented QB for the future. Either way it does no good to argue about wh was right months ago.
