Zipsrifle
Hey, Sloopy, guess what, OSU has a rifle team too and we've owned them for the past couple years.
Zipsrifle
Back from the game all. I've got to go to work tomorrow, but need to make a few comments. First, so many Zips stepped up tonight it was amazing. Hixon is a beast, Biggs is a beast, and Luke really turned it up. But, I have to say that Jay Rohr was again, HUGE!!! He made nearly EVERY tackle on kick returns. He got totally screwed by getting only an honorable mention. Kasparek, Kiki, Grant, Kennedy, Jabari,....the list goes on and on. GREAT showing by zip fans. It looked like we had more fans there than NIU, and I've got Pictures to prove it! So, for everyone that was busting our @$$e$ for poor attendance. The Zip students were loud and had a ball!!! Only a few times did I hear the NIU fans the entire game. The Akron fans were backing the team the entire way. Akron showed up, our fans showed up. I can't believe this. I'm out, gotta get up in about 4-1/2 hours. MAC CHAMPS!!
ziplock
Damn I enjoyed that three hour ride home. Un-frickin-believable. I had kind of prepared myself after NIU's last score for the ride home....thinking...hmmm, respectable showing against a good team and a great runner of Wolfe's caliber, JD and staff really prepared well... a couple of very bad calls... a few bad bounces of the ball...great effort by our men....and then, like an epic football movie, we rebounded, drove down the field and proceeded to slap the broken Pups back to Illinois. All week, we kept hearing about our "fluke" victory against them in OT. Well, tonight they got the "F" and we got the "LUKE". Great job to JD, his men and the ZipNation. Go ZIPS!! zipalong
Just to keep you up to snuff, Mike Thomas was on the sidelines last night, and was there to hug and congratulate the team and coaches. His wife will be attending all the men's basketball games and they renewed their tickets and the family is remaining in Akron until the end of the school year.
