MDZip
And with Sarkodie being named All-American of the year (and not majoring in something like Sports Communication). How could Porter do any better? Incredible on the field, in the classroom, recruits quailty kids (when was the last time you heard about a soccer player getting into any kind of trouble?). Caleb Agreed. The standards for this program couldn't possibly be any higher. I love being in other parts of the country and/or on interviews and bragging about how good the program is. Great job, Coach Porter. You make me proud to be an alum.
The Hip Zip
I think that this, above all other accomplishments, is a testament to Caleb and the Uninversity of Akron. Terrific job all, congrats !
MDZip
Speaking of post-regular season awards, Top Drawer Soccer announced their team of the year awards. Four Zips on the first team (Sarkodie, Valentin, Ampaipatakwong and Nagbe), two on the third team (Meves, Nachoff) amd two on the newcomers/freshman team (Mattocks, Kitchen). Only eight players, how disappointing.
