The crowd looks good from what I can tell, they're just showing the edges of the field. It looks chilly but very sunny. IU is playing good defense...nothing much is open.

I watch very little soccer, so I can't say how this compares to other games. But to me the Zips look totally dominant, almost like pros against amateurs. I expected more from IU. I've only watched the second half, but IU hasn't been near the Zips goal. The whole game is being played around the IU goal. With less than 20 minutes left in the game, IU doesn't have a single shot on goal.

And, of course, as soon as I open my mouth IU starts getting competitive. Two trips to the Zips end and 2 shots on goal, both easily stopped. Still 2-0 with 15 minutes left.

Thank you Dave. Ya know Indiana, with the possible exception of St Louis Billikens has won more NCAA titles than anyone (and St Louis hasn't won one in 30+ yrs). IU has several players from the St. Louis club ranks, including their leading scorer. So, beating them, despite the record -- and dominating, will really set the team's psyche right going into the final three -- if we make it the final third today.

BTW, my problem on Gozips.com isn't one with a pop-up blocker. there isn't any screen to pop up. I think it just is taking forever to load, and I'm on a high speed server today. Must be satellite difficulties.

IU playing with a sense of urgency now. Most of the game being played at the Zips end. Zips are playing great D. Another shot on goal is stopped without too much difficulty. But it's definitely more of a game now. And, with about 8 minutes left, IU scores. 2-1.

Zips getting more aggressive after IU's goal and the game is being played about evenly between the two ends, but no more shots on goal. Time stopped at 2:21 for IU player injury. Still 2-1.

Great feeling to get the win today.

IU came out very aggressive and set the tone in the first. I was really impressed, there seemed to be twice as many red jerseys on the ball.

Second half we gained our composure, got some great pressure on them and controlled the tempo.

Can't wait until Sat!!!

p.s. Thanks to the dozen or so Hoosier fans getting the hill all riled up! Have a safe, long trip back to Bloomington.
