g-mann17
All-MAC I am a little shocked that Thomas and Wagner got Zero respect. Other than that there isn't much that stood out from a players standpoint; but I would have expected some recognition for those two.

It's a shame we didn't land Roosevelt Nix coming out of Reynoldsburg.
skip-zip
The absence of Wagner is unbelievable.
UAZipster0305
The absence of Wagner is unbelievable. I would even go so far as to say negligent. Wow!
ZachTheZip
He wasn't all-MAC last season either, was he? But somehow he got a mention as a freshman All-American. The MAC media is imbecilic.
ZipRoo
What's pretty amazing is that Bryan Wagner, while certainly a good defensive player (any player with an ounce of talent seems to stand out for Akron), has not even made an impression with the very media which covers the MAC. And yet, Rasor just pooh-poohed the very notion of moving the former record-setting running back to offense, at least for a try or for some trick formations, etc., because he was too valuable as a defensive player. Well, not good enough to even make HM in the conference, I guess. The lack of scoring should probably concern this coach a little more. Memo to the Irish guy: when your team doesn't score, you have zero chance of winning. Can anyone name just one offensive *playmaker* the Zips have for next season? Just one. RootforRoo44
Let's also consider that the reason why Thomas and Wagner's stats are so great is because they are on the field 80% of each game and have tons of oppurtunities to get tackles. That certainly inflates their stats. That being said, Wagner is one of the best players in the conference and anyone that's watched just one Zips game would see that he is one hell of a special player (after they from watching such terrible football of course)
MDZip
Not that he deserved it, but Almondo Sewell made at least HM All-MAC his first three years and then nothing his senior year.
Buckzip
Not that he deserved it, but Almodo Sewell made at least HM All-MAC his first three years and then nothing his senior year. Sewell grew out of his position. He was great as a freshman lb/de. Then he bulked up to de and was still pretty good. Then he bulked up more to DT, where he was nothing special. Very suprising that Wagner didn't make it. Wow.

Lee Adams
Phil Steele had Alex Allen on his 'All MAC' second team. At least he got some well deserved recognition from somebody.
