There was no video of any kind for the game. Miami's AD is against it!

Miami's home basketball crowds are only slightly larger than EMU's home football crowds. Seems like the Miami AD is against fans in general?

Man, you're not kidding. Happened to catch a little of the game on the car radio last night. With the score tied at 61 and under two minutes to go, there was essentially NO crowd noise. I had to be reminded by the silly F.L.A.S.H. announcer where the game was being played.

I'll be happy with the 3rd seed overall. Always ends up with the easiest path to the final. Beating the west champ (seed 2) is usually easier than beating seed 4.

I agree with you about the #3 spot. The problem is, Miami has that spot, and they won last night. So, we now have to make up 3 games on them (or 2 and the tiebreaker) with only 4 games to go. And as of right now, they own the tiebreaker against us.

As previously discussed, Can't beating Miami last night rather than vice versa would have improved the Zips odds of earning the #3 seed.

Miami beating Can't resulted in only a slightly improved chance of the Zips earning the #1 seed, which would require many more favorable things happening over the next couple of weeks than would have been required for the Zips to earn the #3 seed if Miami had lost.

The Zips still have a shot at the #3 seed, but the odds are reduced after last night's results.

But, since we don't have any control over game results, it really doesn't matter what we wished for last night.

Right on. That's what my old anthro prof, JP Marwitt used to call "sympathetic magic".
