West Coast Zips be careful

Recommended Posts

After an M8.9 earthquake hit Japan last night, a Tsunami warning was issued for Hawaii and the entire West coach of the US.

Hopefully all our newly-relocated soccer Zips and Alumni out there are getting to a safe spot since it is supposed to be hitting right around now.

An 8.9 is unreal. It's like getting hit with a freaking asteroid. At least twice as powerful as the strongest nuke ever developed.

Currently watching this on t.v as I'm typing. Hope everyone on the west coast takes this seriuously. The images are just powerful. I have family and friends on the west coast so I hope they are paying attention and staying safe.

Stay safe everyone and I wish the best for everyone affected by this earthquake and tsunami.

It was way overhyped here in California. We had some slight tidal surges and a few yachts that were displaced from their moorings, but nothing more than that. I can understand the hype though. Tsunami warnings are never to be taken lightly. All of the beaches were closed from Santa Barbara to San Diego this morning.
