zip37
Transfer rule as I understand it, ND went from NAIA to NCAA and was ineligable to get into tourney, so Luke decided to take the 6 game hit and transfer. Before this happened, I was under the impression that there was no peneality for transferring under said circumstances. But, keeping up with NCAA is like keeeping up with the government. Don't think that's it. Speas and Tulloch have both played from the start of the year after transferring. I though I heard it may be something about his playing time in England and whatever it was wasn't a violation in NAIA, but is in the NCAA so when he came to akron he was suspended. Something like that, just don't quote me.

I love collegiate athletics, but the NCAA is the most corrupt organization in our society. Let me get this straight. Quinn can transfer from another D1 NCAA program without penalty, but Holmes suffers suspension for transferring from an NAIA program? Why the discrepancy? And why is ND barred from tourney? Agreed -- the NCAA may have a load of rules we don't and cannot understand, but the NAIA's problem is the opposite -- they have no rules to make mention of. Kind of what you would call a "GP-1 Paradise".

fknbuflobo
We are getting very close to full disclosure. I wonder what type of relationship Holmes had with English professional team. Was it Manchester City? This is a curious story. Should Mr. Holmes continue his recent success, some journalist will write a piece on him.
