ZachTheZip Posted September 29, 2011 Report Posted September 29, 2011 http://www.espnmediazone3.com/us/2011/09/2...ool-in-history/ More teams than ever before. Probably a good thing because it helps eliminate large talent disparities in match-ups that you sometimes get with a limited pool of teams. As a road team I hope we get a TV game against top competition. Plenty of good options to choose from. Utah State would be the top team, but there are plenty of good options like NMSU, Butler, Iona, and more. Quote
Captain Kangaroo Posted September 30, 2011 Report Posted September 30, 2011 Nice to see Butler still in the mix, unlike the wussies from Gonzaga. Hope we get earn a good draw...it's the absolute greatest thing in the world to happen to Zips Men's basketball scheduling. No chance we'd get two games with Nevada, VCU, Creighton...or any of these other nice mid-major programs without it. It might be the only thing ESPN has done in the past 10 years that's good for college athletics. Quote

He must have been with Hipsher at the Denny's in Waikiki when he got bad service and swore never to return! I think GoZips might have been there too, unless he was dining on lau lau on Kapahulu Blvd.. Quote

I think GoZips might have been there too, unless he was dining on lau lau on Kapahulu Blvd.. My daughter was the lau lau connoisseur. My favorite is kaluha pig with lomi lomi, pepe kaluha, finished with haupia. Grandma always sent me away with a small brown paper bag with several pieces of haupia. Haupia is a gel made of coconut milk and corn starch. Fantastic and fattening as hell. BTW. Ono Hawai'ian Food is one place Dambrot would love to revisit. The coaching staff gave solid two thumbs up to Hawai'ian food. Serves them right for eating at Denny's. I'd love return to Hawai'i. The Zips on a tournament suits me just fine. BTW ... Dambrot hates the jet lag you get returning from Hawai'i. If he could make the next game a week later he would probably return to the islands. Paradiso, I'll start lobbying for a trip to Paradise.
