footballzip Posted December 7, 2014 Report Posted December 7, 2014 Seems these teams like playing musical chairs with hopping in and out of conferences every few years. They are always looking for that better deal. Quote

They are always looking for that better deal.At least they're trying to better their position, unlike anybody in the MAC.I'd rather be in a conference where everybody is competing to be the first to leave for something better than in a conference where everyone is happy where they are. ZippyRulz Posted December 7, 2014 Report Posted December 7, 2014 I can't imagine the Big 12 won't expand now that the lack of a CCG cost them a playoff spot.http://www.sbnation.com/college-football/2014/12/7/7347577/tcu-baylor-college-football-playoff-big-12-expansionUnless NCAA changes the CCG rules (whenever that might happen). Cincy and Memphis to the Big 12. Then three MAC school filling into C-USA. I think we will be one of them. UA, UT, and Ohio. The MAC will be in lousy shape if this happens. Quote

K92 Posted December 7, 2014 Report Posted December 7, 2014 Although they would be a geographical outlier, I think the Big XII would be smart to bring in UCF instead of Memphis. Quote

How much, if any, influence would Bowden have ? Not that he has truly earned it yet ..... Didn't know if he (or Dad) might have any inroads. Quote

K92 Posted December 7, 2014 Report Posted December 7, 2014 Never thought I would say this but if we could move to CUSA with Toledo & Ohio, I'm all for it. Quote

MDZip Posted December 7, 2014 Report Posted December 7, 2014 I think Memphis and Cinci are likely heading to the Big-12, however that would also likely mean two C-USA teams move to the AAC. You might not like C-USA as much when you realize its a reconstituted Sunbelt. Quote
