Seems these teams like playing musical chairs with hopping in and out of conferences every few years. They are always looking for that better deal.

At least they're trying to better their position, unlike anybody in the MAC.

I'd rather be in a conference where everybody is competing to be the first to leave for something better than in a conference where everyone is happy where they are.

I can't imagine the Big 12 won't expand now that the lack of a CCG cost them a playoff spot.

Yes, I think the dominoes are about to start falling again. Cincy and Memphis to the Big 12. Then three MAC school filling into C-USA. I think we will be one of them. UA, UT, and Ohio. The MAC will be in lousy shape if this happens.

Works for me. CUSA North: Toledo, UA, Ohio, Marshall, Middle Tennessee, Western Kentucky.

Hey, I would applaud that decline in travel from GA ...... Does everyone think that the AD could pull it off ?

How much, if any, influence would Bowden have ? Not that he has truly earned it yet ..... Didn't know if he (or Dad) might have any inroads.

Is there a clue here in the fact that Zips men's basketball has recently established home-away series with both Middle Tennessee and Marshall and football with Marshall?
