Crew8 Posted October 17, 2011 Report Posted October 17, 2011 Those not driving to Ann Arbor, Anyone getting out to watch the Michigan match tomorrow on Big Ten Network?I'm probably going to head to Manny's Pub Quote
jem101 Posted October 18, 2011 Report Posted October 18, 2011 I knew Michigan was having a tough season, but I didn't realize that they were 4-10-1! Given our recent regular season domination of UM, this could be another blowout. Can't take it lightly, but another UM blowout would be very welcome! Quote
bisbee Posted October 18, 2011 Report Posted October 18, 2011 I can't watch game and just saw that it won't be on radio Frequent updates on zipsnation would be greatly appreciated Quote

GoZips88 Posted October 18, 2011 Report Posted October 18, 2011 Wow ... Michigan shot off the post in the 6th minute.FYI - South Florida at Louisville can be found on ESPNU. Quote
mes102 Posted October 18, 2011 Report Posted October 18, 2011 Michigan with a shot that deflected off a defender and hit the post right back to a Michigan player who kicked it wide right...6 mins in Quote

johnnyzip84 Posted October 19, 2011 Report Posted October 19, 2011 Defense NOT closing out, offense keeps trying to thread the needle when it's just not there. Thankfully, Meves has been up to the task. Quote
GoZips88 Posted October 19, 2011 Report Posted October 19, 2011 Another big Meves safe at the 40-minute mark. Quote
bigzipguy Posted October 19, 2011 Report Posted October 19, 2011 West Virginia up 1-0 over UConn 11 minutes into second half. Quote
GoZips88 Posted October 19, 2011 Report Posted October 19, 2011 USF hard foul in the box against Louisville. Colin Rolfe carried off the field with a leg injury. Louisville lost a key player earlier this year to an ACL tear.Louisville converts the PK to make it 3-1 USF with 30 minutes to go in the 2nd half. Quote
GoZips88 Posted October 19, 2011 Report Posted October 19, 2011 West Virginia up 2-0 over UConn at West Virginia with 12 minutes to go. Quote

GoZips88 Posted October 19, 2011 Report Posted October 19, 2011 Are we down 1-0?No0-0 w/26 minutes left.We are being outplayed by Michigan. Quote
GoZips88 Posted October 19, 2011 Report Posted October 19, 2011 Still 3-1 USF over Louisville with 6 minutes left. Two of USF's goals are own goals by Louisville. Lots of rain and some wind on a sloppy field in Louisville. Quote
johnnyzip84 Posted October 19, 2011 Report Posted October 19, 2011 The ref is definitely "letting them play".Quinn with a near breakaway goal. Get's a corner. Quote
GoZips88 Posted October 19, 2011 Report Posted October 19, 2011 Final: West Virginia 2-0 over UConn. Quote
UAZipster0305 Posted October 19, 2011 Report Posted October 19, 2011 We really need to pull this one out. A tie against a weak Michigan program isn't going to look good on the resume. Quote
GoZips88 Posted October 19, 2011 Report Posted October 19, 2011 Final: USF over Louisville 3-1. Quote
tbozeglav Posted October 19, 2011 Report Posted October 19, 2011 Im by no means a bandwagoner, but Im beginning losing hope that this team can pull it together for a championship run. This is a very good team, yes... but the cohesion and team play just isnt there yet. 2012 should be a good year for us, but given how I've seen the team play this year, they're horribly inconsistent and I cant confidently say that we'll be good enough to beat the rest of the field come late November. I still hope we can. It'd be fantastic to see, but my expectations are lowered now for this year. I hope I am wrong...Lets just pull this one out and keep working... go zips! Quote
