So Wednesday the 29th, the senior team AND the U-23s play? Sounds like a fun day. Not to mention it's also the basketball team's last home game. Oh and by the way, could anyone back me up here? As we could have probably predicted, the people on BigSoccer (and probably a lot of other US fans) are starting to complain that Porter is playing favorites by calling in so many Akron guys. Quote

USMNT vs Italy at 2:30pm on ESPN2 and US U-23 vs Mexico at 10pm on Univision. And the USWNT kick off the Algarve Cup in Portugal against Denmark at Noon, unfortunately no television coverage. A full day of US Soccer. I really would've liked if the USMNT game ran back to back with US U-23 match. Quote

I'm so used to these Porter interviews starting out with "Well, obviously Bowling Green is a quality opponent, credit to them for their hard work" but instead it's "Well, obviously Mexico is a quality opponent, credit to them for their hard work." I can't wait to see more from this team going forward. Quote

Tough break for Dilly Duka who suffered an injury Saturday would've been on this squad. Valentin, Sarkodie, Kitchen, & Bunbury look to be representing the US in Qualifying. Yaz, did Porter try that in one of the scrimmages in a previous camp? If I remember correctly, I don't think it worked out to well. But maybe that has changed. Quote
