RobC2 Posted February 4, 2006 Report Posted February 4, 2006 Does anyone know what happened with DL Marcus Proctor from Alliance. He was supposed to sign with us Wednesday, but has not. Is he academically ineligible? I saw we signed Jerrell Stoudamire, whom neither Rivals nor Scouts.com had mentioned was considering Akron. Was he offered as opposed to Marcus?Also, how about DE Lamar Mapp? Rivals had been tracking him w/ Akron for months and it does not appear he signed w/ anyone. Quote

Is he academically ineligible? As of a few days ago it was up in the air whether or not the Zips would send him a letter of intent to sign. His grades are terrible.
