bisbee Posted November 13, 2011 Author Report Posted November 13, 2011 Guy on Big Soccer who has maintained RPI rankings all season long has Zips with RPI of 19. This does not count any of the RPI bonuses or penalties that the NCAA factors into the official RPI. Official RPI before yesterday was 21 so we are in great shape for an at large bid and hopefully a home match on Thursday. Quote

Ben Speas won ACC Tournament MVP Award That really hurts! What does Akron lack the most right now? Offense. Zips sure could have used Speas around here lately. Perhaps I am alone, but I am still having a tough time letting this one go. Quote
MDZip Posted November 13, 2011 Report Posted November 13, 2011 UNC has a legitimate shot to win it all this year. Could Speas make it two years in a row? Quote

I always felt he could have been very good here had Porter given him more playing time. Quote
