jem101
I'd definitely love to go. Especially if there is a bus headed down. Does anyone know if Charlotte streamed there last game? If I can't go and they don't stream this game I will be really ticked. Edit: Just checked their site and it looks like it should be streamed. bobbyake
It's going to be a little trickier this Sunday because the Cleveland Clowns game starts at 4. NFL games usually take at least 3 hrs to finish. Let's hope there are not a lot of people there around 7 so that we can get the same setup

That would have definitely increased the odds of me making the trip.

natemathwhiz2
I wont be able to sit through another tournament game streaming off of the internet. It's one thing when its on ESPNU or another cable channel but the streams are terrible. If theres a bus heading down some cars, I'm definitely going to try and make the trip. We are going to try to get a big caravan going. I'll post a facebook event page with info as soon as it's set up. Then we can see who needs a ride and who can drive. Z.I.P.
Z.I.P. here, back from the weekend...Hey we beat SMU?!?! Hooray! Sorry for the late post. What do we know about this next bump on the road to Alabama? Is the NCAA serious in suggesting the game shouldn't be played at the defending champions home field? Will Charlotte attract even as many fans as an average UNC attendance (<1000)? I think we already beat the toughest opponent we'll see prior to the Cup -- at least I hope that's true. Do Bisbee and Tank have their reservations made for December in Birmingham? The team isn't there yet, but you can smell the pimiento cheese, or whatever they eat down there... I already have a connection, with my friend visiting his son in B'ham in December. No -- I'm NOT going this year. When do they return the Cup to the WC? bisbee
Quote: From post I made on Big Soccer : I asked in an earlier post but didn't get a response so will try again Has anyone seen Charlotte play this year and would they please let me know what they think. very organized team. Their defense is very good. The mystery has been where is the scoring going to come from. I really like TJ Beaulieu - if he's healthy he has a nose for the goal. Evan James is very quick and seems to finally be putting his game together. Freshman Guisseppe talented goal scorer. I can't remember the good passing center midfielder. Not Aiden Kirkpatrick, he's the DM. Goalkeeper is average. Akron will hold possession with Charlotte trying to counter with speed down the right side. Just a quick assessment.
