Lee Adams Posted December 5, 2011 Report Posted December 5, 2011 Footballscoop.com says that Colorado State is looking at JD Brookhart. If thats true, good for him. He deserves another shot. Maybe he learned something. Thats his alma mater isn't it? Quote
AlwaysAkron Posted December 5, 2011 Report Posted December 5, 2011 JD would be a great fit there. Still think he should have gotten the chance to finish out his last year with us and then made a decision. Quote

johnnyzip84 Posted January 5, 2012 Report Posted January 5, 2012 Some people who cover FAU are already second guessing their AD Quote
johnnyzip84 Posted January 23, 2012 Report Posted January 23, 2012 Look who will be the opposing defensive coordinator in Coach Bowden's 1st game for the Zips! Quote
zipsfan33 Posted January 23, 2012 Report Posted January 23, 2012 Good for him... Now maybe the Dadgum Zips have a better shot on Thurs. Aug. 30! Quote
johnnyzip84 Posted January 23, 2012 Report Posted January 23, 2012 Good for him... Now maybe the Dadgum Zips have a better shot on Thurs. Aug. 30! It's a little unusual when a player has to face his father as an opposing coach. John Elway did it routinely as Stanford QB in their local bay area rivalry games against his father Jack's San Jose St squads in the early 80s. But has a player ever had to face his father as an opposing coach for TWO SEPARATE TEAMS????? Assuming Will is still playing after numerous injury problems, we might just see that on August 30. Quote
zipsfan33 Posted January 24, 2012 Report Posted January 24, 2012 I am so glad that you threw in that he MAY play. I do not know know if I have ever seen a player with so many injuries and hang around for so long... I wish him well and always root for local Akron guys! I am glad he has stuck it out! Quote
johnnyzip84 Posted January 30, 2012 Report Posted January 30, 2012 Is the Crystal Ball saying Mario Cristobal to Rutgers? I certainly wouldn't mind playing the Panthers minus Hilton, their QB and their HC. Plus, maybe Coach Bowden can swoop up a few FIU commits as a result? Quote

Football Scoop is saying Cristobal told his FIU players that he's staying with them. They (Football Scoop) have been pretty good in their predictions this off season. Quote
