He was promising wideout, so this is a real shame. Quote
gozips19 Posted February 14, 2006 Report Posted February 14, 2006 that is too bad he looked as if he could have been a nice player for the team. this will put more preassure on the remianing guys (long, aurthur, lindsey, williams) to step up and added preassure on the new guys to contribute right away. i sure hope harvey keeps his grades up! Tall receivers are the current rage, and we could have had 3 of them - 6'4" Jabari Arthur; 6'5" D.J. Henderson and 6'5" J.Sharps. Oh, well, we've still got 2 of 'em plus burners in Harvey & Lindsey plus a quality possession receiver in Johnny Long. We're fine. We have more depth than at any time since I've been closely following Zips football - about 12 years now!!! Quote
TXZipFan Posted February 14, 2006 Report Posted February 14, 2006 Yea this Wide-Reciever corps is going to be the best, not only in the MAC, but will rival almost any team around. These kids truly have me excited to see how they do and where they can take this team. Just to be able to have 2 guys on the outside over 6'4" and speedster's like Harvey and Lindsey, is awesome, BUT all these guys also have an intangible that will make this corps SCARY... they all have outstanding hands, that will make this group elite.
