Michael Porrini’s nagging foot injury and a suspension of Justin Manns means the Golden Flashes may be without two starters for at least tonight’s game against Saint Peter’s.

Porrini’s status was to be determined after practice on Monday night. He has not practiced in over a week. Even if Porrini doesn’t play in tonight’s opener of the Athletes In Action Basketball Classic, the senior point guard may still be able to see some action against Texas-Arlington on Wednesday and tournament host Utah State on Thursday.

Manns is a different story.

The 6-foot-11 senior center was suspended over the weekend for breaking team rules and did not accompany the team to Utah.

Head coach Rob Senderoff said he will meet with Manns on Dec. 26 in Can't, and that meeting will determine whether or not the suspension is lifted for a Dec. 29 game at Arkansas State
