NewZipsFan
Hard to find solid info on him. 2011 Season Stats 2010 Season Stats Interesting how the entire team's individual defensive stats went down in 2011, but the team's record increased fron 3-7 in 2010 to 8-2 in 2011. Zipmeister
If he signs we us, at least we have one guy with an offer from another D1 school.
NewZipsFan
If he signs we us, at least we have one guy with an offer from another D1 school. I just scanned the list of verbals pinned here, and there are several guys that had other D1 offers. I have a feeling that this list is going to be pretty different after this weekend. Are you expecting us to get a few guy that are committed to other schools or are we getting some decent uncommitted guys that aren't being reported by rivals, etc? Might be both scenarios. As everyone knows, with the very late start the staff has gotten for this class, everyone needs to be realistic. I do know that we have already started working on next year's class (research, etc) and once signing day is over, the staff will know the direction they want to go in for 2013, and will be going at it full speed. wadszip
McClinton is a legit Division I caliber recruit, but his teammate Cody Callaway is going to be big-time. He was a sophomore QB this past year. Here are his freshman year highlights: http://www.scoutingohio.com/index.php/view...e&user=7169 Sorry, nothing to add on Arlington, but building a relationship with the Midview coaching staff probably won't hurt the Zips when it comes to Callaway, though I've heard he will be very sought after. BTW, for MAC relative old-timers like me, Midview is the high school alma mater of former Bowling Green forward Anthony Stacey, who was a MAC player of the year in basketball in the late 90s/early 2000s. Stacey, btw, is the current Medina head basketball coach.
ZachTheZip
Arlington was named to the Ohio Big 33 team, the only Akron recruit in this game.
xu9697
Arlington was named to the Ohio Big 33 team, the only Akron recruit in this game. Didn't we have 2-3 guys in that game a couple years ago? With Bowden, I'm thinking this will be the last time we have just one in there for a long, long time
