Stumbled across two names today that possibly committed to Akron in the past few days

Chase Jabbori - forward from Novi, MI

Changing lanes

It looked like Novi senior soccer star Chase Jabbori was ready to select the University of Michigan as his college playing destination, until a last-minute change of heart saw him commit to the University of Akron late last week. A two-time all-state pick and four-time all-league selection, the fleet-footed forward was one of the area’s most dynamic offensive talents the past few years. Jabbori led Novi in scoring all four of his years on the Wildcats’ varsity, recording a career 70 goals and 55 assists.

And Brad Ruhaak - defender from Copley HS, Akron

Either way, these guys are probably just depth/practice squad players. With the established core we have, the big names coming in, and Porter's sparse use of subs, I don't really see guys like this getting much playing time. Probably just rounding out the roster because there could very well be departures of guys who filled that same role last year.

I agree with you 100% Yaz. Although 3-4 years from now, they could have an impact on the team depending how they develop.
