Crew8 Posted February 23, 2012 Report Share Posted February 23, 2012 Stumbled across two names today that possibly committed to Akron in the past few days Chase Jabbori - forward from Novi, MI Changing lanes It looked like Novi senior soccer star Chase Jabbori was ready to select the University of Michigan as his college playing destination, until a last-minute change of heart saw him commit to the University of Akron late last week. A two-time all-state pick and four-time all-league selection, the fleet-footed forward was one of the area’s most dynamic offensive talents the past few years. Jabbori led Novi in scoring all four of his years on the Wildcats’ varsity, recording a career 70 goals and 55 assists. With the established core we have, the big names coming in, and Porter's sparse use of subs, I don't really see guys like this getting much playing time.
