ZachTheZip Posted February 17, 2012 Report Posted February 17, 2012 http://hsconnect.com/page/content.detail/i...n.html?nav=5016 This story is a great read for Zips fans and should get you excited. I wonder if we'll see some of the current QBs on the roster change positions by the time the season starts. Quote
Captain Kangaroo Posted February 17, 2012 Report Posted February 17, 2012 It will be interesting to see which of our two heralded walk on QB's gets the first available scholarship. Quote
ZachTheZip Posted February 17, 2012 Author Report Posted February 17, 2012 Pretty sure we have more than one available scholarship. Coach Bowden seems to be using the recruiting tactic known as "blueshirting". I like it. It's almost like the polar opposite of oversigning. Quote
UAZips Posted February 18, 2012 Report Posted February 18, 2012 I like it. There are some strong feelings about Steubenville across the state, both good and bad, but they win. The program went 48-5 while he was in school, I like getting kids that are used to winning. Quote
Zipgrad01 Posted February 18, 2012 Report Posted February 18, 2012 Steubenville always produces D1 athletes. It is a great place for Coach Bowden to start an Akron pipeline. Their head coach is an Akron alum, so I am sure that he would be in UA's corner, especially when Bowden gets the program turned around. Quote

Captain Kangaroo Posted February 27, 2012 Report Posted February 27, 2012 http://youtu.be/B2JCksIhwng - Prather's Highlights He reminds me of Jose Davis (Bellaire). For a high school kids, he really throws well on the run. Quote
