ZachTheZip Posted February 20, 2012 Author Report Posted February 20, 2012 I was surprised to see us with double what Miami got and four times Ohio U. Quote

akzipper Posted February 20, 2012 Report Posted February 20, 2012 wait...$56 million?? holy crap! We can build a new arena with all that... Quote
Zipmeister Posted February 20, 2012 Report Posted February 20, 2012 wait...$56 million?? holy crap! We can build a new arena with all that... That is an excellent idea. Unfortunately, a good deal of the amounts shown are restricted gifts. For example, of the $35.8 million donated to Ke.nt St.ate, the donors of $35 million specified that the money was to be used for research into improved bong design and more efficient tie dye techniques. Big Zip Posted February 21, 2012 Report Posted February 21, 2012 I have tried to point out the prowess of our Development office many times in this forum. It has now been about 15 years (give or take) the University really got serious about development. Fifteen years of estate planning and meeting with potential donors is starting to snowball...it seems every year donations increase and the University sets a new record. I feel the University could raise enough money for an arena if they put their mind to it. Quote
