johnnyzip84
Now that’s what I call foresight! Good for you to put forth that kind of effort. Of course we all hope it pays off handsomely in the end. So now we can ask, “who hits the books harder, Zeke or Mama Zeke?”
UAZipster0305
So now we can ask, “who hits the books harder, Zeke or Mama Zeke?” I'm not sure about books, but I bet I know who hits the video games harder!
johnnyzip84
I'm not sure about books, but I bet I know who hits the video games harder! Here's to hoping that by the end of next season it's completely clear who hits the GLASS much harder!
Dave in Green
Great idea! Too many professional athletes get screwed out of their money because they trust the wrong people to look out for their best interests. No question that an NBA career could generate enough income to start a nice little computer company. Connecting all the dots, the better Zeke gets at basketball, the more earning potential in the NBA, the more money to invest in a computer company. I'm sure his agent will do a good job of laying all this out for him.

This could be taken in two ways. I know which GLASS most ZNO members would be hitting hard!

zipseuph
Nice article. Be sure to watch Jerry Maguire a few times for inspiration! You can do it! Just as long as Zeke doesn't start shouting "SHOW ME THE MONEY!" During thanksgiving dinner
Dave in Green
Hint for Zeke's future professional agent: I found some good words of advice for Zeke in a New York Times Sunday sports section Q&A with a 7-foot ex-NBA star center who deserves being listened to -- Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. Q: You were so successful with your sky hook. Why do you think players in the NBA don't use the shot today? A: From what I have observed, that shot is not being taught to young players as they start their playing carrers. It's a simple shot that can't be easily blocked. But if no one is teaching it, it could become a lost-art aspect of the game. We know Zeke can shoot the sky hook because we've seen him do it. He also seems to be able to shoot it at a fairly high percentage. But he doesn't shoot it often enough. If he really focused on it, it could become his primary offensive weapon. The sky hook could be the key to Zeke making millions in the NBA to start his computer company. As Coach Mike Dunleavy says toward the end of this video, he tells big men coming into the NBA you should practice hundreds of left- and right-handed hookshots every day. But only if you want to make tens of millions of dollars. If you don't want to make tens of millions of dollars, just do what you're doing. you am i
Through my job, I was involved last year in some financial dealings concerning an NFL player who has been in the league for five years and is earning $1.2 million a year. He is living the NFL luxury lifestyle. It was an eye-opener to see how the money flowed from his accounts like water. He probably has another few productive years left in the league. Given what I could see of his finances, it seems certain that he will be broke within five years after he is finished as a player. He has absolutely no idea how to manage money. I suspect his situation is not that unusual for pro athletes. Gamechanger, take whatever money Zeke makes and make it work for him. The pro paychecks do not last forever. Dave in Green
I absolutely cannot imagine Zeke P***ing away money like some of these kids from the poor side of town who just never had the family background or training to handle financial success, and who have no earthly idea how fast money can disappear when no planning is in place. Those are the ones who really need help

FromdaBurgh
It can happen to anyone- look up "Broke." Here is the deal EVERYONE..not only am I VERY CLEAR on the statistal data concerning the downfall of professional athletes but so is Zeke! He is a very sound, wise with his finances young man whose desire is to have his money MAKE HIM MONEY! I have had the pleasure of speaking with current pro athletes as well as several retired athletes both from the NFL, NBA and NHL and I CLEARLY understand the snares and trappings that often times occur with athletes! Having said that...let me say this...I am very clear on the financial strategy that is needed for Zeke to be financially secured. Both Zeke and I have spoken with some very successful financial advising firms, who understand the financial perils of pro athletes! I so appreciate the advice "you am I" and please know that WE have been and will continue to be very strategic about all of our decisions when it comes to his finances and it certainly doesn't hurt that Zeke is VERY educated concerning the investment market and has a very clear plan! PS: We both have watched "30 for 30 BROKE" at least 3 times TOGETHER...so he got it...understands it and have no intent on becoming one of them! #In All they getting...WE got an understanding#
