gozips19 Posted March 1, 2006 Report Posted March 1, 2006 now don't get me wrong i would rather have the mac title to ourselves but by getting the 3 seed it makes our path to the finals of the title game a less difficult. we should get ohio and more than likely niu as compaired to um and can't on the other side of the bracket .... let them beat each other up and we'll cruise to the finals Quote
bigzipguy Posted March 1, 2006 Report Posted March 1, 2006 Anybody watching the game last night see that , as of right now, Can't, Akron,Miami, andOU are in the same half of the bracket!!!!!!!!!!! That is , in my opinion, not favorable toany of the four above mentioned teams!!! Quote
AK-Zips Posted March 1, 2006 Report Posted March 1, 2006 Anybody watching the game last night see that , as of right now, Can't, Akron,Miami, andOU are in the same half of the bracket!!!!!!!!!!! That is , in my opinion, not favorable toany of the four above mentioned teams!!! no... Can't, akron, and miami have all clinched home byes for the first round which means that it would be immpossible for more than two of these teams to be in the same half of the bracket.1 and 4... 2 and 3 are in the same half. RowdyZip Posted March 1, 2006 Report Posted March 1, 2006 Let us not forget that we have NOT clinched the 3 spot. We've gotta take care of business tonight at buffalo and saturday vs Can't. Miami is just one game behind us and has a much easier sched. (@BG, vs Buffalo). I'm gonna be @ Buffalo tonight, are you? Rowdies will represent and have an effect on the game. In fact, it's noon and i'm leaving to go up there now and get warmed up.GO ZIPS! Quote
bigzipguy Posted March 1, 2006 Report Posted March 1, 2006 The graphic showed on T.V. last night illustrated that : If OU won their first round game, they would play the Zips in their first game atthe "Q". Quote
GoZips88 Posted March 1, 2006 Report Posted March 1, 2006 The playoff graphic on TV last night was based on "If MAC play were to end tonight, ..." and did not try to project what would happen the rest of the week through Saturday. Quote
FearTheRoo Posted March 1, 2006 Report Posted March 1, 2006 Where is A$$holio Gates to lend his brilliant enlightenment on this topic? I am sure he will brag about being number one and not even realize that his team will get eliminated in the first round! Quote
HeHateMiami Posted March 1, 2006 Report Posted March 1, 2006 The people who have said that it's impossible for Miami, Akron and Can't to all be on the same side of the bracket are correct. The 1 & 4 are on one side and the 2&3 are on the other, and since those 3 teams have already secured byes . . . Question: Say Miami wins out and Akron losses to Can't on Saturday? Who wins the tie-breaker for the #3 seed between MU and UA? Quote
