Z.I.P. Posted May 26, 2012 Report Posted May 26, 2012 I happened across some salary figures released by the MLSPA this week. This only shows the Galaxy and Chivas USA, but that includes our two Akron Goats. I'm sure someone can find the rest of the league salaries. I imagine Zakuani still leads all ex-Zips by a decent margin. Quote
bobbyake Posted May 26, 2012 Report Posted May 26, 2012 I believe Ampaipitakwong and Korb made the least last year at 36k. I was going to make a spreadsheet last year but figured these players probably don't like having their income discussed. Quote

MDZip Posted June 4, 2012 Report Posted June 4, 2012 And look at Darren, I think I know why he might not have hung around any longer considering he already had an NCAA championship under his belt. Strikers are apparently the quarterbacks of the MLS pay scales. Quote

Ando Posted June 6, 2012 Report Posted June 6, 2012 it's not unique to MLS - center forwards tend to come at a premium in any league, whereas, say, goalkeepers are generally undervalued that said, to my naked eye I think the salaries of former zips is probably more accurately explained by draft slot than by position Quote
